Pros:
- nice board with lots of connectivity
have yet to find a part which is unsupported in linux (everything works more or less)
fans can be controlled with pwn
temperature sensors work correctly (temp2 is cpu and temp1 mobo)
Cons:
- I had HUGE problems with IDE on this board the only thing that would install correctly is fedora 9 (live disks and windows xp failed) other linux distros not tested. The disks all failed to boot correctly with a sata attached in the case of xp or just couldn't find their filesystem info after the bios booted it.
Attempting to use the 3100 for any kind of demanding games seems to cause some stability problems.
IDE problems from my cd/dvd drives due to JMicron
imho not the greatest board but that is mostly down to difficulties with chipsets which are present in many other boards
