Description: External dialup USB modem for those of us with laptops or even desktops that don't have functional modems using Linux.

This modem works out of the box with openSUSE 11.0, should work with 2.4 and 2.6 kernels, I've not tried other distros or kernels yet.

Had great performance (for dial-up) very steady connection, never kicked off.

Purchased this through NewEgg for my hp Mini-Note which has no internal modem.

Plug-n-play with openSUSE, works great.
