This is the Belkin Wireless G Notebook card model F5D7010v7. It is version 7, with a different chipset from previous versions According to my research.
I was not able to get this card to work with my laptop. The closest I got was using ndiswrapper with the RTL8185 Windows XP driver. With that driver, lights would come on. "iwlist wlan0 scan" showed the correct networks, but I was unable to obtain an IP from any even if they were open. Maybe you'll have better luck, but I'd recommend going for something with better linux support.
