This is packaged as the Logitech QuickCam IM Plus
The quality is very good and it just worked.
lsusb reports the
Device ID 046d:08d9 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Connect
I plugged it in and it worked with Skype and Camorama.
In Ekiga, I had to go to Preferences > Devices > Video Devices
and change the "Video plugin" setting
from V4L2 to V4L Then it worked just fine.
lsmod shows these working related to video
videodev
gspca
v4l2_common
v4l1_compat
Not sure what that means, but the gurus will.
