Slim line fairly light weight notebook. Pentium M 1.4Gz, 2 USB 2.0 ports, external VGA port, S-Video, 1 Cardbus/PCMCIA slot, S/PDIF, headphone and microphone jacks. As reviewed has 1M memory installed and CDRW/DVDR drive, I bought this used, installed a 40GB hard drive, loaded ubuntu 8.04. Hardware recognized and working right off the bat except for modem, which only required drivers readily available from Intel and other sources to work. Fn keys were recognized and worked without tweaking, though Xorg gives me trouble with the LCD/CRT switching. I installed an Intel XPW2200 A/B wireless card in the mini-PCI slot, antenna connections were already present, correct drivers loaded on first boot and wireless kill switch funtioned as expected.
