I read this review and it wasn't bad. It's a great card.. I'm not sure where the reviewer bought his card but I only found one place that was sub-$300 and it was out of stock.
I'm very happy with my card and it has better compatibility then my previous 3ware or Adaptec cards..
My ratings as follows:
Performance 10/10
Value: 10/10
Reliability: 9/10 (still in testing phase and can't give it 10/10)
Appearance: 7/10 (box color could be better)
