The Creative Zen V Plus is completely supported under Linux by the
libmtp project.
Actual media management can be done with a dedicated application like Gnomad2, or through media players such as Audacious and Amarok.
The only complaint I have with this product is in regard to build quality. I have gone through 2 of these players due to defective front buttons; after minimal use they tend to become unresponsive.
