This is an excellent travel laptop.
The Centrino processor, wireless + Battery life give a great combination for speed and longevity.

So far I have most things working as HP tried to make this laptop ready for Linux.

The standard battery gives about 4.5hrs time ... the HP Travel battery (that clips onto the bottom) adds another 3.5hrs.

This laptop does lack a built-in optical drive ... but you will find that most ultra-light laptops are designed this way.

BIOS supports USB boot.
