I just plugged it in and the /mnt/removable icon popped up on my desktop. I canīt seem to find an appropriate driver for the webcam function.

This camera was purchased on the clearance racks at my local Wal-Mart. I had no problems getting the camera to connect since access to the camera was through the usb-storage module.

Vivitar documentation shows this as Linux compatible by mention of "Lycoris Desktop" in the system requirements.

Yet, they do not provide any information about Linux compatibility on the box.
