Description: A color photo scanner by Canon. Powered by USB, a generally nice scanner. However, the scanner is NOT supported in the latest version of sane (including the latest CVS snapshot).

It's a good scanner, but it is NOT SUPPORTED BY SANE AT THIS TIME.

I purchased it thinking (mistakenly) that this was a compatible scanner to the 60 model. But no model above 60 is supported by sane at the moment (that includes 70, 80, and 90).

It's not difficult to get one of the earlier models (i returned the 90 and purchased an N1240U online), and they work pretty much just as well.

I don't recommend you buy this scanner unless you're trying to write a driver for it.
