With one exception, everything on this motherboard worked right out of the box. I did have to create and delete a partition on the hard drive with a Windows Install CD before the Fedora installer would see the hard drive though.
The board does not have a chipset fan and is very quiet.

This is a solid board as far as I can tell with only one exception. When I tried to install a PCI wireless card with an Atheros chipset the system locked up each end every time I loaded the madwifi driver. I don't believe it's a driver problem, though, because the exact same thing happened when I tried to load the Windows driver with ndiswrapper. Nothing I did would make the two like each other. I couldn't diagnose the problem very easily because the system hardlocked each time I loaded the driver. There was no output saved anywhere.
A Linux-friendly motherboard (as long as you have 2.6.23 or higher). Beware if using Atheros-based wifi cards.

Excellent motherboard. Had a bit of trouble in the past with the IDE JMicron controllers and Knoppix 5.1.1 wouldn't boot until I updated the bios.
I use SATA drives now so no problems.
I also use an Atheros wifi card and Madwifi with no problems.
