Logitech Cordless Keyboard

Description: This keyboard came in a package with an optical mouse, so both the keyboard and mouse send signals to one receiver (which in turn has the connection for the keyboard and mouse to the computer).

It works like any other keyboard, no special configuration needed for basic usage (just make sure to press connect on the receiver followed by pressing connect on the back of the keyboard, computer doesn't even need to be on for this).

To get the top special buttons working, GNOME can set those buttons to do something in the Multimedia Keys option under the Applications menu. KDE should have something similar. The scroll on the left of the keyboard works automatically but the other two buttons there have yet to show meaning under Linux.

Other than that, a great keyboard. Recommended to everyone, especially when bought packaged with the cordless optical mouse.

I always have trouble getting it to connect, but once I do, it's good for at least 30 feet. Great when you are watching a movie. No trouble to install at all.

30 feet!! No way! It hardly worked for 10 feet for me. But I really don't care. I got this keyboard so that I can have it on my lap and program if I put my legs up in the table :)

This keyboard looks exactly like Logitech's Cordless Pro, from back in the day, except it's black instead of white.

It works pretty well. The great thing is that it's one USB plug, not two. The con is that the Logitech Key (on the number pad) produces a mouse button click, instead of a keyboard click. rather annoying because I used it as a function key with my old keyboard.

The media keys work. Had to remap them using xmodmap.

Works out of the box...assuming you have USBHID drivers compiled and available.
