This PTP camera has a 10x zoom, uses a proprietory battery that lasts a long time, and an SD card. It has lots of presets, and full manual control, including shutter and aperture priority.
Works very well with the Kodak Easyshare dock (usb) on Debian testing using the f-spot photo manager program. Also comes with a USB connector for direct connection. Another way to get pictures from the camera to disk is to remove the SD card and use a card reader, which shows up as a usb drive. A small portable card reader is very handy on the road, and will work with virtually any computer.
