Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.17-2-686
Distribution: Debian

Device mounts (on my machine) as /media/sda1 as a normal USB mass storage device.
Mounts automatically and umounts quickly without error. File read / writes are also fast.
This player has a very small high-res display with a tiny joystick menu control. The supplied white earphones are good quality.
