Tried initially with Kubuntu dapper 64 bit, however I found it impossible to get the wireless working (BCM 4318, you guessed).
Reinstalled with 32 bit, and ndiswrapper for the wireless, now it works fine.
Beryl works like a dream even on this 200M, despite it being marked as only 'Vista Capable' (no aero)
Everything works, but Knoppix refuses to boot unless noapic is used (other live cds work such as DSL, Kubuntu, Sysrescuecd)
To sum up, using kubuntu everything is configured except the wireless, however running ndisgtk installs them a treat. Linux just works on it.
