This card is version 1.1R, it uses the Marvell 88w8335 "Libertas" chipset.

Works with ndiswrapper ("stock" kernel, "stock" version of ndiswrapper). Download driver from website for version 1 (mrv8000c.inf). The CD (and version 1.1R on the website) have mrv8335.inf -- this driver doesn't work under Linux (AFAICT, I tried). With the mrv8000c driver, setup is easy, and WEP works. Haven't tried WPA or WPA2.

Link to driver:

Good reception, $24.99 retail at CompUSA (heavy rebates possible). Works with 98SE also, not all cards do.

:study: NOTE: If installing card AFTER Mandriva, and "iwconfig" does not list wlan0 or does not find the card, look at the file /etc/iftab, try adding "wlan0 {mac address of PCI card}".

After much fussing about with other cards (and firmwares), I highly recommend this one! :)
