We are currently using about 400 of these motherboards at work in a High Performance Computing cluster. While they have performed admirably, we have been having problems with MCE errors being generated, in some cases profusely.

One of the problems we have seen is that if all of the memory slots on the motherboard are filled, memory problems tend to be much higher. There have been reports that one of the causes of this is that when all of the slots are filled, the change in capacitance for the memory infrastructure is such that problems occur in the memory.

One other problem that kind of annoyed us for a little while is that the Broadcom gigabit ethernet chipset on the motherboard does not support Jumbo frames.
