Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL
Distribution: CentOS release 4.4 (Final)

Was a bit of a struggle to configure it up to work with my Dell Optiplex desktop running CentOS 4.4 - but that was because I had never attempted to wireless network under Linux before.

I recorded what finally worked on my web-site: www.coulterfamily.org.uk. Follow the PCs and Workstations link to Linux and then to Wireless. Thereon is a step-by-step of what I found (eventually) worked for me and at the bottom of the page are a couple of tables with a number of links to drivers and information that I found useful, the second table in particular is Ralink RT card specific.
