Description:	he iriver T30 is an absolute sound sensation you can take along anywhere. With its compact dimensions of 64 x 32 x 22 mm and a featherlight weight of a mere 27 grams, the tiny sound giant fits into even the smallest pocket. With just a single micro battery, it plays up to 20 hours of music at a time and the line-in makes it possible to record songs directly in MP3 format. Equipped with 512 MB right up to a huge 1 GB, the T30 with the largest memory capacity has room for more than 250 songs in MP3 or 500 tunes in WMA or OGG Vorbis format.

The iRiver T30 P is a fine product after you switch the firmware to a version that supports UMS instead of the default MTP. which is fairly simple using the software provided here:
http://www.iriver.com/html/support/faq/sufq_view.asp?idx=387
Unfortunately they don't provide a Linux only way of fixing the device so they get a crappy rating.
