The GA511 is Netgear's gigabit version of their PCMCIA wired Ethernet adapters. It runs on the common Realtek 8169 chip and fits in a standard 32-bit Type II PCMCIA slot. It supports network speeds of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps as well as gigabit Ethernet in either half or full-duplex modes. It uses the "r8169" kernel module, which is in recent Linux kernels.
