Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.22
Distribution: Slackware 9.1

Works with USB Mass Storage protocol when set on camera unit as well.
The compact flash disk in the camera then shows up as an additional hard disk just as if you had it plugged into a card reader. Simply mount the device and copy or removed photos directly from the card.

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.10-1-k7
Distribution: Ubuntu Hoary

Plugged it in and it was recognized by gthumb, which imported the photos. Due to the USB 1 interface, the camera is a bit slow though. Picture transfer mode is set to PTP.

With SCSI-emulation, SCSI disk support and VFAT modules it works just fine for me.
