Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.26
Distribution: Slackware / Used on Mandrake 9.1 as well

CDCEther works fine, even being experimental.

Just add DHCP = "yes" in rc.inet1.conf and then exec rc.inet1.

Couldn't be any easier!

I was able to do this without help and I am a newbie!

I am using the Motorola SBV4200 Voice over IP Cable Modem with Road Runner. It works great. It had no problem whats so ever working with Mandrake 10.0 Official, Fedora Core 3, Ubuntu and several live Linux cd's.
