I bought this 1.3 megapixel camera a long time ago. It doesn't handle low light very well and the zoom is pretty much useless. I does do different image types well, and is pretty good on batteries as long as you leave the display off by default. The connection type is serial, so forget about direct gphoto support. I picked up a $10 Compact flash adapter and just mve pictures that way. When you're done, you can just blank the entire disk too, the camera will automagically rebuild the directory structure it needs.
