Description: Is the HP DJ3520 compatible with Linux. Is there a driver which is available. If so does it come by default with Mandrake?

There were very few issues with install of this printer. Downloaded and installed a new CUPS, went thru default configuration, printed a nice test page in both monochrome and color. (It's very nice to have syntax highlighted source code printings.)

So far this printer has been very easy to use. Sometimes I need to reset the power to clear a failed print job though...

Printer obtained from Fry's Electronics.

This printer does perform nicely, although I did need to first download the ppd for it as it is not included by default in Mandrake 10.

Works perfectly with hp driver in gnome or KDE. Printing text actually seems cleaner and sharper than windows. Uses very little ink also.
