Worked on bootup with no extra setup after compiling kernel support for the bcm43xx chipset.
Also good to know the linuxant wireless driver works well (dont try to use wireless monitor tools though) [http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/] and actually supported 125Mb/s (Not tested, but thats what it said it was performing at ;) ). Great software and awsome support, all for a few bucks! Well worth it

Was not recognized out of the box.
Spent almost 9 hours trying to configure this card using ndiswrapper. Finally the card could see the network but had issues connecting.
It eventually did work but was very slow. Under 1kb transfer rates up and down.

Initial posting does not indicate where they obtained the source code which they compiled into their kernel (link?).

FWIW: Buffalo Technology, in UK, offers GPL source code; you must send them media, must include prepayment for service, etc.

FWIW: my WLI2-PCI-G54S card uses Broadcom chip BCM4306KFBG, I have not attempted any compiling, installing or configuring of it. HTH
