Installed CentOS 4.3 and am writing this review from this laptop right now. Cpuspeed would cause intermitent lockups, shut it off fixed the problem. Battery life could be better (was a little better with cpuspeed turned on) but over all I am pleased with the purchase. The RaLink RT2500 wireless G card is well supported under linux, and was easy to configure (the source bundle even has a configuration utility you can abcompile if you want to use it.) Was able to install mplayer and dvd playback is better than I expected. The display is very crisp and bright. Over all performance is better than I expected. I would recomend this laptop to others as an affordable linux laptop.
