Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid? (in USD): None indicated | Rating: 8

Kernel (uname -r): 2.6.10
Distribution: Debian

:) Native drivers available
#1 RaLink http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm
#2 SerialMonkey http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

#1, follow Modules/readme (not README)
#2, follow Modules/README

Both are easy to install, but my penguin chokes every once in a while with #1, so far no trouble with #2. (This is the reason I deduct rate by one 10->9)

If #1, it is better if you install module and depmod -a to use modprobe.

Utility is excellent in function, but font size is incorrect with my penguin, so that I cannot read text in meny buttons. (this is the reason I deduct rate by one 9->8)

This card can pick up wireless signals without any trouble where D-link DWL-G630 is berely working.

So far, I have only one hardware version. (Only one chipset.)
