Althought not immediately recognized, a little research on the internet gave plenty of help getting the card up and working. Note that the chipset is
"RaLink ralink RT2500 802.11 Cardbus Reference Card (rev 01),"
and the driver that should work with it is the rt2500. This driver is included in the latest version of Kubuntu, but also should work with ndiswrapper. Anyone looking for help installing this card should checkout this website. This is where I got started, and it helped greatly.

The range of the card is pretty standard for a PCMCIA networking card, and it is one of the cheapest on newegg.com. It works, and thats all it needs to do.
