I've managed to install Gentoo on this machine as dualboot with windows. I've also managed to install Slackware. Tried to install Linux from scratch but that I didn't get to compile properly (probably my fault).

No problems with the hardware but one positive:
I run the X window system on 1600x1200 resolution which is not available in Windows (max 1280x1024).

20 GB for Windows and 10 GB total for Linux (including 512 MB for swap).

I bought the machine in the fall of 2004.
