Description: Another one of those popular "all-in-one" printers. When I had purchased this, I was expecting it to be quite proprietary, as most of these devices are. However, I was very pleasently surprised. The printing works beautifully under Linux just as it does under Windows. The scanning is top-notch as well. Bravo to HP for being one of the only printing companies to actually create a fully-functional Linux driver.
The high point of this product, however, is the fact that you can slip in a memory card of any type, upload them to the printer, and actually print them without a PC connected. Realize that yes, there are many other printers that do the same thing, but none of them do it quite as beautifully under Linux as this HP does.
