works great in all redhat versions since 7.3 for me. when using in windows 2000 i had to disable the devices before shutting down or recieve the blue screen of death.
i am using it in fedora now successfully with xawtv and zapping.
one problem. if i have my ibm usb webcam plugged in the webcam will be shown in xawtv and zapping. if i don't plug in the webcam, i can use xawtv and zapping to watch tv and then plug in the webcam to use gnomemeeting. two choices will then come up for the capture source. however if i boot with the webcam plugged in, i am not able to use the ati card.

Tried setting up just plain xawtv, and also KnoppMyth (separate from Mandrake distribution).
Had trouble getting the correct channel frequencies. At first picture fuzzy; then I realized that the channel frequencies were wrong, and when adjusted by about 15 (whatever units xawtv uses), it worked. Still, not recognizing all channels. So far spent about 8 hours total , tinkering. Need to play more with it, but no time.

install smooth, hit a snag(of my own doing{undoing})lost /pswd. unable to boot into gnome, but aha well working on it.
old video card refused to function with linux therefore acquired ATI evilwizard card @ FRY`s (4) $50 tx inclded.
content with device works like a charm. have heard complaints but none from me . could it be some mis-config some where?
mdk8.1 had no problem locating and installing with complete configuration , no miss, no hiccup, no error & no nothing but smooth working.

Under Windows, this card is a pain to work - ATi's own TV software doesn't like it, so your forced to scramble around for third party stuff.
On Slackware - it just works! Ran tvtime expecting a struggle, and there was none! Only needs the bttv module (ALSA does have a driver if you want to download the sound seperately from the card, but I haven't tried this yet.)

I've had this card for quite a few years now. Win 98, 2k, XP, Mandrake 9, FC3, and FC4 and it has worked in all places with very little hassle. In Windows I install the newest software and drivers from ATI, and in Linux it works natively.
The quality is ok. I use TVTime in FC4, and I also have to adjust the channel freq. by about 15 for each channel, which is a pain, but it still works well.
