Kernel (uname -r): 2.4.3.1
Distribution: Slackware 10.2

This drive works perfectly fine with Slackware 10.2. I plug it in and dmesg tells me it's attached to /dev/sr0. It mounts without any problems whatsoever. I haven't tried burning CDs with it under Slack 10.2, but I assume it won't be a problem since I could burn fine with it under 10.1.
