At the time of writing, this card is AverMedia's latest and greatest offering to the world of DVB-T (and what a crazy world it is!) and there isn't very much data out there relating to it.
AverMedia's website www.averm.co.uk tells me it does this (slightly modified for Linux folks):
* Teletext (DVB Standard)
* 16:9 Wide-screen mode [may be software feature]
* HDTV (1080i / 720P) ready (DVB-T only)
* EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
* Fast Channel Switching and Scanning
* Input Signal:
-> IEC type 75 O TV Antenna Input [Standard UHF/VHF aerial socket]
-> S-Video
-> Composite Video
-> Stereo Audio L/R
-> IR Remote Control
-> FM (RF Radio Antenna Input)
* Analog TV needs:
-> 128 MB RAM or higher
-> PCI slot
-> Sound Card
* HDTV / SDTV needs:
-> Intel Pentium 4 2.4 GHz
-> 256 MB RAM or higher
-> PCI slot
-> AC'97 compatible sound card for HDTV?
* Box contains:
-> AverTV Hybrid FM PCI
-> Installation CD (incl. User Manual in PDF format)
-> Quick Installation Guide
-> Remote Control
-> Remote Sensor Cable
-> FM Radio Antenna
-> All-in-One Cable
I must impress on you that as of the time of writing (28th December 2005) I can find ***NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER*** that this board is Linux-compatible. This doesn't mean, of course, that it isn't. I emailed AverMedia an hour or so ago asking about Linux support (and praising them for their support of the lower "AVerTV DVB-T 771" model) - the website says that they try to respond within 48 hours. I'll post the reply in a review here if it's worth posting.
Apologies for the lack of further detail, but there's really very little out there on this product and I'm certainly unwilling to part with £80 (about 170USD I think) on the offchance that it might work.
I've provided the description - now it desperately needs reviewers!
