Had windoz before but when i changed to linux this board perfromed well and was reckognised and works fine. My graphics card PNY nvidia fx5500 worked fine in windoz but doesnt in SuSe dont no if its because of the board or linux. had probs with the card in windoz anywayz.
But the mobo is good with good usb support onboard lan and the usual. had onboard intel xtreme graphics which are 3d acceleration enabled and work well in linux. The 2 RAM slots r ok but more wood b nice and the 3pci slots r a bit limited. mine r full alraedy with tv, firewire and ide raid. ONboard sound full works in linux so overall a sturdy working mobo but lacks a bit in the features part.

Ok an update on what looks like my rather bad use of english hmm...
After getting to use the board for onwards of a year now, i have come to develop a dislike with it. The PCI slots are very unreliable, and dont always function properly, well the middle one just work.
The AGP slot, ASRock has renamed to an AGI, ASRock Graphics Interface, is shocking. the onboard intel chip cannot be fully disabled in any OS that i have tried. Also in all the OS's that i have tried it doesnt boot properly with my PNY Nvidia FX5500. I have to have the intel chip as the primary GPU, then in the OS change to the Nvidia one as the primary. Very annoying, and i cant get the best out of it.
Network is good, and the sound is good. RAM support is limited, not very fast and cant have massive expansion.
Although this board is very sturdy and has put up with constant use at around 55celcius for a long time know. I would say if you want a cheap server board then you couldnt go wrong here, but as a desktop... There are better alternatives

Excelent Product but only for Windoze OS, when you ask for support to ASRock they tell you, the product you buy "only was tested on Micr..enviroment", and they not support others OS, so please take a look at the forums.
The motherboard is also excelent if you will use it with the internal VGA intel extreme graphics video card, forever , because linux recognizes it properly,
But only but it if you donīt have any plans to buy and Nvidia GeForce Fx 5200 or so...because (and this explains my rate for the product)when you install an AGP, you will never install another Linux distro "out of the box", you always need to modify linux in text mode with "blacklist intel_agp", chaging the etc/modprobe.d/, and the xorg.conf, in "devices" and in "modules" and probably, 3d acel. and glx never work properly.
It is Ok for windoze users, but ...for dual booting I donīt recommend it unless you never install an AGP acel.video card.
I hope this will be helpfull for somebody.
