Basically this laptop have buggy ACPI, so the battery sensor won't work out of the box in most distro until I tried ubuntu dapper/edgy(thanks ubuntu community take care acer users). By the way the mmc card reader won't work in all distro untill now.

In battery mode this laptop performance is slow, even in windows xp.

It's battery sensor doesn't work for Vista either...
I am not sure whether Acer (or MS) is going to take care of this issue.
