This is an older card that does work well for the basic needs. Nothing too special. I've used X with this card but mainly only use this card in a server with no X installed as its not needed.

Got it free from a friend upgrading his computer ages ago.

I have it onboard on an old Compaq Presario 2240. Rated it 6 because it's not compatible with XFree86 4.1
That's the X-server shipped with Woody. You either have to downgrade to 3.x or upgrade to 4.2 or higher. Appart form that, i also used it with an old SuSE (7.0) and the vesa driver worked fine.
