Probably too much to pay for a cheap keyboard, but anyway it all works fine. The Hotkeys are easily mappable in Gnome, I have most (not all) set up so far, I just need to start getting stickers so I remember what I put there!

Everything works fine in Linux, I didn't do anything special. This doesn't relate to the keyboard, but as far as peripherals go I learned that X windows and Gnome won't start unless I have a mouse plugged in...silly. Looks like my left control key label is already getting worn off/smudged up (after 2 weeks)...I really don't care. More than anything else I feel a bit bad for having a Microsoft logo sitting on my desk and on my receipt, but maybe that's just to remind myself that I'm just as easily sucked into the evil empire as anyone else - gotta fight that much harder!

You can get the extra functions keys working with keyTouch. Because keyTouch doesn't support this keyboard yet, you will have to create a keyboard file for it. Send your keyboard file to marvinr(at)users(dot)sourceforge(dot)net so that other users do not have to create a keyboard file.
