The Fujifilm FinePix F610 Zoom has a 6.3 megapixel CCD that delivers more than 12 million recorded pixels. There are 5 image sizes available (4048x3040 (12.3 million), 2848x2136, 2016x1512, 1600x1200, 1280x960), which can be recorded only as JPEGs. The camera features a Super EBC Fujinon 3X optical zoom lens that is equivalent to a 35–105mm lens on a 35mm format camera.
The Fujifilm FinePix F610 Zoom only supports the xD-Picture Card format.
Does avi 320x200 or 640x480 at 30 fps
Does black and white
Many functions, quite handy shape and screen.
Fully manual if needed
Very happy with it goes up to 800 iso
Macro mode all right
Drawbacks:
(no RAW format)
Jpeg compression maybe a bit too high
Miss a 1600 iso mode
fstab is /dev/sdc1 /mnt/camera auto noauto,users,noexec,nosuid,nodev,ro 0 0
Mount gives /dev/sdc1 on /mnt/camera type vfat (ro,noexec, nosuid, nodev, users)
