The AMD64 version of Kubuntu Hoary Hedgehog installed easily. Post-install most of the hardware was functional. The kernel loaded the wireless module but it failed to function. I downloaded the latest ipw2200 driver and when compiled it worked fine.

There are currently isn't a SLAMR modem driver for AMD64 or support for the MFC port.

This laptop is actually a Uniwell N528KA0.
