Description:
|
This is a Toshiba A75-S213, P4 3.33 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, Atheros Wireless NIC, ATI Radeon 9100 IGP with 128 MB shared Video Ram, 100 GB HD, Dual Layer DVD Burner (RW R etc.) and CD Burner. No firewire, Infrared, or Serial ports. 1 Paralell port, and SVideo Out. Also has 1 PCMCIA slot, and a hard switch to turn off the Wireless NIC. The screen is 15.4" and runs at 1280x800. I run SuSE 9.3 from an FTP install, and WinXP Pro (on a small partition) in a dual boot setup.
I have the wireless card working through NDISWrapper because the native drivers lock up the PC (at least the version that comes with Fedora Core 4, and SUSE 9.3 did).
I also have Hardware acceleration working but not fully with the ATI drivers, they also lock up the PC. I also do not have ACPI working as I cannot suspend, or hibernate the box.
