Description: 54 mbps wireless card with the RaLink chipset.

After a kernel recompile, followed by a driver compile, this card works great.

Check http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ghlight=RT2500 for directions and troubleshooting the driver installation.

This card was easy-as-pie to install and get running.

Visually, it is small, a half-pci height, but picks up 3x the signal that my DI-520 on my WindowsXP rig gets (70-90%, as opposed to 20%), AND it comes with a antenna that is not attached directly to the back (3 ft cord)
