Description: Pevious to this keybaord, I had the MS Office Keyboard. I liked it a lot, and programmed a lot of GPL software on it (something about the irony I liked), but unfortunatley it broke after two years. So when I was looking for a new keyboard I went looking for something similar.

The BTC has a lot in common with the MS Office, Its missing a few keys the MS one had, but makes up for it by having a lot of others that the MS one didn't.

Its got the edit keys (cut,copy,paste) of the MS, but lacks the Applicatin switch keys. It does have the clickable scroll wheel, but where the MS keyboard only had back and forward for internet, the BTC has a full set ( back, forward, close, refresh, home, favourites ).

It also has keys, for email, and a PIM (outlook, and express? ), which is nice since I can have KMail on one and kontact on the other. It also has more application keys ( word, excel, powerpoint, my computer or as I like to call them kate, kdevelop, GIMP and Home ).

Where the MS one had only volume controls the BTC has a full set for Multimedia. It also has the FKey, commands thing as the MS Office.

The really nice thing though is that I can get all the keys working under Linux, where some of the MS keys took a lot more work, and some I could never get working. BTC have for the most part just took the normal keybard shortcuts and applied them to the keys, which makes mapping these extra keys for the new command incredibaly easy ( most don't require you to do any thing especially the edting and fkey/command keys ). most of the other keys have keycodes the same as other keyboards do and where already set for the XF86xxx commands, a couple I had to add, but not many and they where all keycodes so no messing with scancodes and the like.

Unfortunatley I can't get the Scroll Wheel working, but I couldn't get that working on the MS one either.

Its got a slightly spongy feel to the action of some of the keys, but The keys themselves have a very confortable, almost felt texture.
