This product is fairly well supported by both the DRI and the FGLRX drivers. However, the DRI drivers are notably superior and don't cause memory leaks as the FGLRX do. I recommend that you use DRI instead of FGLRX.

Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
In Modules section add
Load "glx"
Load "dri"
Here is how a device section should look:
