Description: 4 megapixel digital camera, works flawlessly with gphoto2 and the gtkam front-end under Fedora Core 4 and KDE. Simply plug the USB cable in to the camera, set the camera to playback mode and retrieve and manipulate your pictures.

SuSE is very picky about this camera. To use ANY camera program with it, you must be 'root'. I just have to use SUDO to work it's magic. Other than that, great camera!

I got my A520 working after installing gphoto2 (which provides the libgphoto2 library) and gtkam as it's graphical frontend. It is easy to set up with Linux and the camera is great for it's price. Easy to use, jet powerful possibilities for manual settings! I totally recommend it!
