Description: Works with kernel 2.6.12.3. Prior to that, I had to pass a ide-cd=/dev/hdN parameter to the kernel and even so, it didn't function properly each boot.
Maybe a bit too long media detection time. And, from time to time, it fails in burning properly a disc (once 20-30 discs), but this happens under Windows too.
Otherwise, it works well.

Recognised and works fine for DVD / CD writing on Ubuntu / K3B, though had a problem reading a CD on Windows on one occasion, otherwise, great!
