This printer works perfectly with FC3. Printer driver can be found at http://solutions.brother.com/linux/en_us/index.html. Brother is working on a solution for FC4, they email me once and said to get it working on FC4, use the same cups and lpd driver provided at their website and disable SELinux. I personally have not try it yet. Anyone who does and succeed, please post them.

This printer is wonderful: superb quality, with CUPS very easy and SANE helps making great scans. Copier/Fax works without any PC connected. Installing the driver correctly is a bit tricky for newbees, but with the help from the brother HP it is possible.

Hi :
Could you please explain to me, what does FC3 and FC4 mean?
I only wish that the Brother MFC 210C was easier to configure. My Brother DCP-115C which was configures as a MFC-210C has just recently decided to stop printing, but the printer still works thru Windows. I have no idea why it stopped.
