2d Acceleration - yes.
3d Acceleration - no.

This card is a regular nightmare to get 3d acceleration working with- which is a pity, as it was one of the cheaper ATI cards when I purchased it over a year ago. What's more, it provides good bang for buck in 'dows, allowing me to play all but the most demanding games... heck, I can even run doom 3 and battlefield 2 alright.

Lack of (reliable) support in linux lets it down though. The ati howtos covered both here and on ubuntuforums.org seem to work with most ati cards, unfortunately this is not one of them.
