There is no current free driver for this printer, but the turboprint.de driver works a charm - photos printed from GIMP are just as good as those on Windows. But you have to pay 30EURO for the full version. Don't let this dissuade you from using this super printer though.
Note that there is a bug in the current version (1.92) affecting the printer if setup in a networked environment: Email I received from Turboprint "...this may be a known problem with page size different from A4 (only applies to turboprint 1.92 with ESP ghostscript 8.15). Please copy the enclosed file "pstoturboprint" to "/usr/lib/cups/filter". We will include the bug fix in the next release"
So if you need to share the printer out, email them for the updated file.
