A CD-RW drive (burner) capable of 16x-10x-40x speeds (2400KB/s CD-R disc writing, 1500KB/s CD-RW disc writing and 6000KB/s reading spead).
The kernel detects it at boot time automatically and controls it trough the Uniform CD driver. K3B works out of the box at the maximum speeds possible for the device.
