I had some problems getting the divice working (on both windows side and linux side) and this was fixed by going into BIOS and changing the USB controller from V1.1+V2.0 (or something like that) to just V1.1.

After I fixed that, I just plugged it in and it was recognized and mounted automatically.

It's a great little machine, though. I love the recording features.

just plug it in (it has ogg support and iAudio officially suprorts linux)
